180 THINKERS – Back in September ‘98, our soon to be Chairman, Alex, read a quote by Francis Ford Coppola. It went something like this, “Whenever you get into trouble, keep going, do a 180º turn. Turn the situation halfway round. Don’t look for the secure solution. Don’t pull back from the passion. Turn it on full force.”

Somehow the quote represented everything the company stood for. And 180 was born.

A while later, 180 staffers, Sean C and Esther, had the idea to track down the, five times Oscar winning, writer/director himself. They hung out in San Francisco in his favorite Pizza restaurant. After a few days, they were almost ready to give up when he happened to walk in.
