Typography is not just about letters and words, its about communication.  Exposing meaning, setting a mood or feeling, giving personality to the words and message themselves.

You could argue that it is the very foundation of graphic design – along with balance, form, rhythm, harmony and colour. Most designers can place type. Very few can design it – and not many at the level of our resident craftsman, Yomar Augusto. Our young Brazilian friend is acclaimed world wide as a master calligrapher and designer of type. Yomar brings a unique typographic approach to a wide range of agency projects – building Fonts for almost all our clients. One of which, the ‘Unity font’ will appear on backs playing upon the largest of stages – as well as on a small sphere that for a month next year will be the focus of billions across the globe.
