180 and Francis Ford Coppola

Back in September ’98, 180 weren’t 180 yet. We were looking for a name. Nothing seemed quite appropriate, until our soon to be Chairman Alex happened to read a quote by Francis Ford Coppola. Somehow the quote represented everything the founders stood for. And on the 1st October 1998, 180 were born. (To this very day, the quote hangs outside the office etched into a brass plaque.) The funny thing is, it wasn’t a name at all, but a number. Happy 9th birthday 180.
